Padmasambhava Practice and optional Vajra Guru Mantra Accumulation

Padmasambhava Practice Book
Here is the link for a video of the Practice with Khenpo Gawang Rinpoche on YouTube

The great teacher, Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche, while teaching at Namdroling Monastery on March 27, 2020, requested individuals accumulate 100,000 or more Vajra Guru Mantra as a way to help purify the world wide negative karma that has led to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Letter from Khenchen Namdrol Rinpoche explaining his request for the accumulation.

How to Practice for Accumulation: If you do not have a sadhana with the Vajra Guru mantra included to use as a practice container for the accumulation of the 100,000 recitations, then please use the one in the Padmasambhava Practice booklet. Recite the Refuge and Bodhichitta section three times. Recite the Seven Line Supplication. Begin reciting the Vajra Guru mantra and continue as long as you wish for the session. We chant slowly online as a group but you may do the recitation mentally or aloud as fast as is comfortable for you to do while still reciting each syllable. If you are counting with a mala then traditionally one circle of 108 beads is counted as 100 or in short hand 1. Try to finish a full mala if possible before stopping. Then recite The Prayer to Remove Obstacles on the Path and the Prayer for All Peoples of the Earth one time. Finish with one recitation of the Dedication of Merit.
